Blah, blah, blah

What I Learned From The Royal Wedding

No I did not stay up all night to watch the thing. I caught the high speed replay the next morning. Lots of great pics of the event were posted on the internet. This I garnered:

Not once did I see anyone covered head to toe in tats.

I never heard anyone drop the F-bomb.

Not one of the attendees showed up in drag.

The wedding was held in a church and the word God was spoken by the officiant.

The royals did not hire some out of date rock band from the 60's to do an intermission show.

The Queen looks great. Clean living I would guess.

And the best thing that I learned:

The Obamas did not get invited.

David Beckham is notoriously colorful under his clothes, but I guess that lovely morning suit that he was sporting covered them up......BUT, point taken.

Hey Kevin ~  These are some interesting observations, you didn't notice it was a magical, real life fairy tale?  Ha, Ha!  No tats!

Beck had his MBE on the wrong side and someone advised him to change it.  Cameron's wife did not cover her head.  This is not a FASHION issue, it is a CHURCH and GOD issue and she was WRONG.  Fergie's kids were way out of their class * don't care who their father is.  They were silly in their hats.

Kate did not throw her flowers as she will put them on the tomb in the center of the aisle of the church.  A tradition that the Queen Mum started when she married in honor of her brother who had been killed in WWI.

Getting educated in SCOTLAND should be required for all future British monarchs.  Queen Mum parents were the Lord and Lady of Glamis which is in Scotland....SMART blood is in their veins now!

Something to be said about keep the riff-raff out of the church.  I'm sure there were plenty of the nasty people out in the street cheering them on though.

I learned that hats can be styled and worn in hundreds of ways.

The only that I learned from the royal wedding was the flaunting of their wealth to the rest of the world while 3 billion people live on less than $2 a day.
