Blah, blah, blah

WWJD?

What would Thomas Jefferson do? Or for that matter any of the Founding Fathers of this great nation.

Next time you hear a liberal or any government type say that we are not over-regulated, remember this video. For freedom loving Americans it is disturbing to say the least. To those socialist/fascists who want government involved in every aspect of our life it is probably a video to play at their next worship session.

Check this out. Watch the entire thing and see how free we are as a people. It is unbelievable.

The state of Delaware, the county, and city where this was filmed at must be rolling in $$$$$ if they can expend the amount of money it cost to send out the workers and State Patrol officers to remove the pole.  You would think they have more important items to deal with than a basketball pole!

How many road workers does it take to remove a basketball pole?

I agree Steve. That seems like a huge waste of taxpayer money.

Christina- I know. I still can't believe it. It is truly scary. How can those folks do their job? I would refuse.

How are things in Ripon? Gotta love the whats left of the Central Valley. I still have lots of friends in that area.

Kevin... Things are great here.  I want to think the market is recovering.  I guess it is hard to say.  I'm surviving & figuring it out.  It's funny but this real estate market has been this way for 6 years now here in our area that it really has become the new "norm".  Ripon is like a great little bubble.  I love it here & am so thankful to still be doing real estate.  Did you live in the Central Valley before?  I have a friend that moved to Idaho a couple years ago & they just LOVE it.

We lived outside Sacramento for quite a long time. Loved it at the time.

You should visit your friends here in Idaho. Where are they up here?

Is this a police state or what? And how bold and brazen these workers are to "steal" this basketball post with a camera rolling. And she absolutly lied to him about keeping the pole and them leaving it in the front yard. They are stealing private property from this home owner. I can understand not having basketball hoops in the front yard where kids are playing bb in the street. But for them to come with all of the large trucks, the cat, the state police, all of this over basketball posts, when states are in debt and along with local governments in debt, and there is "real crime" to needs to be stopped.

These stupid so called "do-gooders" with thier agendas to "make the neighborhood safe" by not having kids playing in a residential street, just don't really like kids, and letting them have a good time. I would expect this kids will now go around the neighborhood, hang out, get into trouble, and in fact target those neighbors that got the pole removed in the first place. These kids don't have anything to do, now but to look for trouble, and why not, they will feel justified.

Common sense says this is not a good use of time, or money!

That homeowner should get a very high priced attorney and sue the sh*t out of the state. The whole thing is just ridiculous.

Like I keep saying, I can't believe these workers can even keep a straight face.

Do they go home at night and brag to their family about how they took a little kid's basketball hoop?

Jefferson and Washington would give King George a C- grade compared to the taxes and regulation being imposed by Obama and others in Washington.

Good old bureaucracy in action. What is next, stealing from old ladies?

Kevin, I know I'm late, but I just had to comment.  Did you know that if you have a savings account, there are new regulations in place that prevent you from transfering or withdrawing funds more than six times a month.  Why? What business is it of the governments and the banks if I choose to "touch" my money 100 times in a month.  After all, it is MY money, isn't it?
