Oh No, Punx Was Wrong... I Think

At the start of February, everyones favorite ground hog made his famous prediction. Less than 6 weeks until spring. Now do not get me wrong. I am a big fan of Punxatawney Phil, but darn it, I am pretty sure he was wrong this year. He has a great track record I bet, but here in Twin Falls Idaho, we are reliving some of the worst weather of winter.

This morning I read an article about a sailboat that capsized in San Diego. I had no compassion for the folks on that boat. Oh, I bet the ocean water was so cold. Yeah right. Boating weather? Nope. Not here. 31 degrees and snowing like a snowglobe.

Come on Punx, any help for a brother?

So sorry to hear it...nice spring weather here!  Daughter went to daycare in a light sundress today! I think it will be about 80 today!

(was that rubbing it in?!  LOL!)

I did not hear the story about the capsized boat and am a San Diego local. Just to be clear, it really hasn't been that warm (for us). No shorts.

Thanks for all of the comments everyone. On the San Diego capsized sailboat it was actually quite serious. Now they are saying that 2 people died and 8 were injured. That is not good. I wonder what happened?

We did not have much of a winter here in South Florida - no snow, no rain - just sunshine of about 70-80 degrees - sorry

Kevin, I believe spring arrived here in West Tennessee. It is gorgeous outside today.
