Blah, blah, blah

Its 3 o'clock, do you know where your President is?

The UN- 0. Iran -10.

Iran is going ahead with plans to build 10 industrial enrichment facilites for Uranium. Last week the UN ordered Iran to halt construction of all enrichment and enrichment facilities. Iran approved the building of the sites anyways.

What does Iran have to fear? The UN is run by a bunch of wimps. The tough guys of the UN tell Iran that if they step over this line all hell will break loose. Iran steps over the line. The UN responds with another warning. "OK, if you step over this line, we will come after you". Iran does it. "If you step over this line we will tell our Mommy". The UN in all its glory.

Our President sure is not going to do anything about the problem. He seems more concerned with having parties in a big tent to show off all his Hollywood leftist friends to the media. He is still trying to figure out what to do about Afghanistan. Last fall he had it all figured out and then when he took office, it seemed a bit more complicated. Maybe the teleprompter broke.

Back to Iran. They don't really seem all that worried about the UN. We all have a pretty good idea why they are building enrichment sites. They are not going to use the stuff for energy and they are not a democratic society no matter what they tell us, or no matter what Jimmy Carter says. We need to stop them.

Can we get a cowboy in the White House again? The lawyer from Chicago is not doing the job. That 3 o'clock phone call is coming.

Sounds a lot like the leadup to the invasion of Iraq by the United States.  Iraq thumbed their nose at the UN for over 10 years.  So the USA stepped up to the plate and did the job of the UN.  However now Iraq is a big question mark.  Nobody really has a good answer with what to do.  Same thing for Iran.  If Iran ignores the UN and the USA, what is to be done.  Invade them and have yet a 3rd country in the middle east in the same limbo situation.

I agree that Obama's leadership has been very marginal at best.  Not sure what the solution is though?

Obama has no plans to stop this muslim nation who is on a quest to obtain nuclear weapons of mass destruction. He feels every Islamic nation should have weapons to defend itself against the United States

I'm sure this will all turn out somehow to be all Bush's fault.

When all else fails, Blame Bush!

Like Bonnie Tyler said - "I Need A Hero".  A cowboy with sharp spurs would be nice.  The President we have now is too soft on "his" people.

Flag - You got it right.  Nobody is afraid of the UN.  One thing I respected about Bush was that he challenged the UN to stand behind its resolutions.  It didn't work, and he had to enforce the resolutions with a few loyal allies.  But I respect that he did what he could. He poked it with a stick, looking for signs of life.  There was no life.

Bush knew the UN had no moral conviction to enforce its decrees! Such a difference between Bush and Obama!

He's definitely not acting like the Commander in Chief at 3am or at any other time of day...  Karen, I never thought I'd hear myself say it, but I agree with what you say about Hillary being the lesser of two evils.  Who is going to run against this nightmare in '12?

Obama is too busy having parties at the White House inviting all those celebrities.

BO is checking his schedule to see when his next photo op is.  That is more important to him than our troops, unemployment and the economy just to name a few. things he is doing little or nothing about.
