Our little group

Our little Tea Party group is growing! On the 21st of April we will be only 60 days old but as of right now we have 41 members. As I take a look at some of the other groups to which I belong on AR, I am impressed. We have done pretty well for only 50 days. Almost a member a day. There is a reason.

Americans as a group are sick and tired of our elected idiots stiffing us. They run for office like they will work for us and then they get up to DC and forget all about us. They act like we are their servants. They forget that they work for us. Let me repeat that. They work for us.

JFK was credited with coining the phrase "the best and the brightest". His point was that our govt needs that type of people to work in it. Where the heck are they? It seems our govt is populated by idiots. Our civil servants are a bunch of solitaire playing low lifes and our elected officials are complete dumb asses.

Lets keep it up.

I wish I could disagree with you. But as usual you have a point. Great post-Dinah Lee

Kevin - those that can do, those that can't do teach, those that can't teach go into government. (Ok, I apologize to those good teachers out there).

Term limits and the Fair Tax would go a long way to cleansing Washington of all the ilk.  Unfortunately I don't see either one happening anytime soon.

Kevin - Shoot, I'm in the group.  But I thought we'd actually have a tea party.  I was expecting Earl Grey and a teaspoon of "Shut The Hell Up".

Seriously though, I second Rob's comment above.  You'll find, when digging, I don't & won't second Rob too often... but I believe he hits the nail on the head on that one.

Come on Kevin... I'd pit your credentials against Obama's any day. You may not like him, but you need to be honest about the man's intelligence. He is bright - even if his light shines on an ideology that conflicts with your own.

But what the heck... I like you and your rightwing extremist carpetbombing, so I'm joining the tea party :) I'll bring the cupcakes!Kevin Loves Obama!!!
