Something to Think About

The gun control issue always stirs up lots of emotions on both sides of the aisle. Everybody has their two cents to throw in. With the recent shooting in AZ a few weeks ago, the topic has resurfaced, especially with our liberal minded media who do not want anyone except criminals to be able to have a gun. Here is a link to a pretty good blog, written by a guy who needed his gun at a most inconvenient time.

30% down payment?

I just read where Wells Fargo has asked federal regulators, whoever that may be, to set a new standard of a 30% down payment on mortgages. What? Obviously the good bank in question is trying to figure out a way to protect it's own and other… more

Last week I was all fired up for the Jets. I even went out on a limb and wrote a blog titled Jets by 7. This week it is all muddled to me. The last line that I read has the Steelers by 3. A pretty short spread compared to what the boys had to… more
Whatcha Building?

As 2011 heats up just a bit, I am seeing a few new homes going up in my small rural area. From what I can see, it looks mostly like entry level homes being built by what is left of the "tract" builders that are remaining in the business… more
Its A Start

House Republicans introduced a bill yesterday that would cut $250 billion out of the budget every year for the next 10 years. I like it. It would cut all kinds of "programs" as certain fools like to call them. The list is looong, but… more
Jets by 7

I know the Jets are 14 point underdogs today, but I have a feeling. Don't know why, just a gut instinct. I am not a huge fan of Mr. Sanchez, but I really would love to see LaDanian and his crew do a number on the much vaunted Pats. Any input? more

Ask anyone who watches late night TV. QVC gets boring and all of a sudden, reading past blogs on AR looks interesting. While I am probably not a star of SEO, I have gotten a few phone calls from folks who have read my blog and profile. So for… more
