Another Reason To Support Arizona's New Immigration Law

Aside from the fact that SB 1070 - Arizona's new immigration act - parallels and was patterned after the existing US legislation that Eric Holder and the President refuse to enforce for political reasons (and now want to challenge in court), aside from the fact that it hasn't even become effective yet, aside from the fact that it makes good sense, and aside from the fact that Arizona has a right to protect its borders if the feds won't, here's another excellent reason to know that Arizona did the right thing.

The Mexican government is challenging the law in Arizona state court. A foreign country? How do they have standing? They have no trouble enforcing an immigration law much stricter than what we have, but they have the gumption to challenge this. In Mexico, it's prove that you are legal first, then the police will get to other business with you. In America, as in Arizona, it's a law enforcement issue first, and then a residency issue if it appears suspicious.

If there was any doubt that Arizona was right, this should settle it. Mexico is concerned their citizens won't be able to come to Arizona and get jobs. That's the point. Without work visas, they can't.

Jan Brewer stand your ground against Obama, Holder, Calderon, and anyone else. We the people are counting on you.
