Lets keep the ball rolling

Today Scott Brown will be certified as the winner and be sworn in as a US Senator. He won for a myriad of reasons, and we all must keep in mind what we need to do. Obviously those of us who do not live in MA could not vote for him, but many of us did contribute to his campaign. The excitement of the election has already died down and November is looking like a long ways off. Who really knows what could happen between now and then.

One of the problems that we face is the media. They like to tell us what we believe in. They will probably sway a few within our ranks. They also like to tell us who we should pick as a candidate. They have "helped" us pick before and look where it got us. The media will attempt to convince the people who do not pay attention, that we are racist, militia types, out to over throwthe govt or kill off  Obama or some other made for television drama story they concoct.

We will have dissent within our ranks, as some of us will want to do in a different direction than others. The one thing to keep in mind though is that our basic premise is government is too big and it is out of control. The Consitution should be our guide. Most of our elected fools do not truly adhere to the constitution anymore. They believe more in their own bank accounts and resumes.

Some of our candidates will turn out to be just like the existing ones. We will need to read up on our candidates and not just eat up all of the candy they feed us. Just because we cant wait to get rid of Barbara Boxer, does not mean that we should vote for the first person to run against her. Lets get some facts on the person.

Jusy my take.
