Taxes! Taxes! Taxes! Is The Money Going There Again?

Check out Nate's blog about the first Tea Party. Number two is brewing.

March 22, 1765 was the day that the Stamp Act was put into place for the American Colonies to pay taxes to the English Crown.  It was the first direct tax waged against the colonies, and it led to the cries regarding "taxation without representation".  This was probably the first of several definable events that eventually led to the Revolutionary War, and American independence.
